-The captain always drops a fishing line in the water with the hope of getting lucky, but fishing is not the focal point of the cruise, only an add-on.
-No surfboards or snorkel gear is provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own
*Sail on a 45ft Hardin Catch with Captain Ira*
Captain Ira will show you the ropes if you’re interested and take you to the most pristine spots along the coast. Papagayo is currently San Juan’s largest cruising sail boat, making it the perfect choice for larger parties (the decks can accommodate up to 20 guests).
This is our most popular excursion.
Full Day (10am till sunset) – Cruise to a pristine beach, cook lunch on deck, swim and enjoy the groovy marine sound system before resuming sail back to San Juan del Sur in time to catch the sun setting over the harbor.

Zip Line Tour

Guided ATV Excursions
$24 per hour, located on the San Juan beach. Tour route includes a variety of beaches and a trip up the mountain to the historic statue of Christ. Wildly fun, prepare to get dirty.

Sea Turtle Expedition (seasonal, available from July to February)
A 4-6 hour expedition to nearby La Flor Wildlife Reserve, one of the seven nesting sites in the world for the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles. Excursion includes opportunity to witness nesting and hatching on the shoreline, transportation, park entrance, guide and multi-media presentation (available in English, Spanish and French)
